Flandre merely fired out her own barrage, and the shots negated each other.
"Ooh, you're fast! I wish there were more of me...oh, I know!"
Three other, identical girls flew out of nowhere. They all began to fire colorful blasts at the magician.

Marisa faltered slightly, then whirled around one of the Flandres. Four orbs now orbited her, and danmaku flew out from all of them. She took a breath then flew right up to one of the images, pelting her, before bolting away. She repeated this hit and run technique a few times.

"Clever little human, I wonder if I can make you sing?" The devil-child giggled again. She slammed the end of her staff into the ground, and lines of green spheres formed in the air. They came from all directions, and made a cage-like grid.
"Kagome, kagome, sing for me!" She cackled evilly. As Marisa gazed at the cage, she was almost hit by a giant yellow sphere. The vampire shot these blasts over and over, their raw energy pushing the green spheres out of the way.

"God dam-" Marisa got out, before pressing herself lower on the broom and zigzagging in and out of the cage like, chained danmaku. In and out, back and forth, very carefully. Then, pulling back, she triggered her Hakkero.
A brilliant blast of light erupted from it, then split into two. Her hair blew back, her hat fell off, and the room they were in began to rumble.

When the blast dissipated, the girl was nowhere to be seen. The distant flapping of wings was heard,
A flock of bats flew in front of Marisa's face, and formed into the girl herself. She grinned.
"The little bird didn't like her cage? Too bad! Welcome to my secret carnival! Can you find your way through the maze of love?"
She spun around and a huge wall of spheres formed, spiraling away from her. A small gap was on the other side of the girl from the witch.

Marisa hissed as her Hakkero began to recharge, and she whirled around the insane pattern. Back and forth, side to side, she skidded in and out of the tightly woven danmaku. Her teeth were gritted, and some of the bullets came far too close for comfort. Her orbs began to shoot magic missiles.

She giggled maniacally as she flitted up and down to avoid the missiles. This was so fun!
"Aww, is the little birdie getting frustrated? Don't worry, the maze is done! In the center is a special thing! For in the center of my heart, there's a twinkling little star! I wonder what happens when it breaks?"
Multicolored barrages of bullets came flying at Marisa, moving at incredible speeds.

Marisa grinned. She backed up, and a strange and small piece of paper appeared in her hand. "You're impressive, I'll give you that, ze. But let me show you true danmaku. "Now let's see what happens when I weave the asteroid belt?" With a bright smile, the room exploded into starred danmaku. Marisa bent back down over her broom and began to weave once more.

Flandre disappeared in a flash of red light. In her place came dozens of dark blue orbs, which bounced off the walls of the small room.

The witch shook her head, and nearly collided with one of the bullets. Quickly saving herself, she began a rather complicated set of movements, trying to keep away from the blue bullets.
