Race: Daraknian-Vampire Hybrid
Daraknians are a race descended from an ancient, demon-like race called the Deirahkai. They are humanoid, appearing with very pale skin, and usually odd/dark colored eyes and hair. They possess a pair of wings as well, for flight. They’re fairly tall, standing between six and as high as eight feet tall. They also possess claws and fangs, and their accent also tends to be highly reminiscent of that of a Transylvanian. Daraknians also possess venom that has the capability of turning a human into a Daraknian. However very few are able to survive the lethality of a Daraknian’s venom, but those that do will be transformed. Daraknians are often confused as vampires because of these traits. However, unlike vampires, Daraknians have two sets of fangs on both their upper and lower teeth. As well as their ancestors, Daraknians are also able to use elemental and shadow manipulation and some degree in 'modern magic' such as healing, invisibility, and in a few cases, even teleportation. It is said that Daraknians are generally superior to an average human in terms of intelligence and physical prowess/mentally and physically. Their lifespan ranges from 600 to ages as old as 1500 years old, depending.
Kaekaza possesses Daraknian traits as well as vampire. Her venom is extremely deadly, and like a typical vampire, she is injured in the sun, by silver, holy water, and garlic. However, she is not injured by holy items like a crucifix. Kaekaza is not by ANY means a “Twilight” vampire. Her vampirism adds plenty of powers and abilities to her already wide array of powers and abilities.
Special Skills: Master marksman and swordsman, master martial artist, master of all forms of elemental manipulation and their sub-manipulations, shadow bending, telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, invisibility, and a form of mental manipulation. Kaekaza’s vampiric traits also grant her many added abilities and powers. These include: Regeneration, extreme speed, superhuman strength, extremely acute senses, extremely fast reflexes, night vision, and the ability to shapeshift into her choice of bats or ravens.
Biography: Kaekaza was originally born as Akiko Miyazaki, in Nagisaki Japan, 1928. She had a very bad childhood, with a sexually abusive father and abusive older sisters. She killed her sisters and father before she was 17, after she met her unique and eventual best friend, Shizuka Shisumu, a teenage girl with a unique healing ability. Shizuka was an orphan, and before long, the two unique teenage girls lived together in an underground hideout near the outskirts of Nagisaki. Shizuka taught Akiko to unlock her hidden abilities of Telekinesis and Telepathy. They led a life of banditry and crime until August 9th, 1945, when the bomb fell. They both survived the blast, though Shizuka was badly injured. Akiko, out of mental shock, ran away from Shizuka and into the city. There, she contracted severe radiation poisoning. After trudging for hours across the ruined city, she came across a vampire named Ahzkacel. He took her in and tried to heal her, but found her in a seizure and losing blood as she slept. Believing it the only way to save her, Ahzkacel turned her into a vampire. Akiko, enraged, killed Ahzkacel and returned to Shizuka, utterly different. She discovered that a small Daraknian task force, led under Zenkraada Sentinel Raeviiakin Keonokaramaanzii and lieutenant Zareeva Serrazei, had come to Nagisaki to try and help the survivors. Not fully knowing what she was, Akiko neglected to feed and became blood starved. She passed into a coma. Raeviiakin fed Akiko her own blood to try and save her, and Akiko promptly came out of her coma, entirely different. To Akiko, she had spent nearly 300 years in what was an hour long coma. She had learned forbidden secrets and knowledge through Raeviiakin’s ancestors in some sort of unexplained phenomenon, induced by Raeviiakin’s blood. Akiko inherited a wide array of deadly powers, and became extremely powerful herself, also transforming into a powerful Daraknian Vampire in minutes. She redeclared herself as Kaekaza Areivas, and engaged Raeviiakin, her team, and Shizuka, killing several Daraknians. Shizuka left the newly-born Kaekaza scarred along her face from a deadly blow from her Kyuketsu-Shogei, and Kaekaza simply left and never looked back. She built a huge manor on the Island of Rishiri, high on the slopes of Mt Rishiri, and named it Moonshadow Manor. From then, Kaekaza led a life of brutality, wickedness, evil, murder, and crime. Her mental state remains questionable at best.
Anything miscellaneous (optional): Kaekaza takes to wearing a long and elegant, almost dress-like trench coat over black sort of loose pants, black boots, with varying attire underneath her coat. She also tends to wear black fingerless gloves and a yin-yang Taoist charm necklace. She sometimes dons a black and purple hood-scarf. She has a long, thin scar on the left side of her face that starts just under her hair line and travels down past her neck. She also has various scars that adorn her right arm. She possesses the Zikan blades Ahzkaseir and Vaerizatae. Kaekaza’s favorite ice cream flavor is a concoction of her own; an odd mix of strawberry, peach, mango, and blood. Her favorite food is yakitori with rice and blood. She also loves blood-infused red tea and sake. Her favorite colors are black, purple, dark red, and dark green.
